Dr.
Roger Harper was born in
Cleveland,
Ohio, and attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, earning a B.S.,
with a major in chemistry and a minor in mathematics. Dental school
training was at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio,
and Dr. Harper graduated as the number one student in his class. He
also received the American College of Dentists Achievement Award,
the Psi Omega Award for Scholarship, the Callahan Memorial Award,
the Dentsply Prosthodontic Award, the Alpha Omega Award for
Excellence, and he is also a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon - the
dental scholastic honorary fraternity. His specialty training
continued at the University of Washington with an advanced degree in
fixed prosthodontics and periodontal prosthesis, as well as a MSD
degree. He has been on the faculty, teaching in the graduate
prosthodontic division since 1977, and is currently a clinical
professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Harper is
married and has two daughters - Kristen, a new architect, and
Kathryn, a junior at Miami University. He enjoys car restoration,
fishing, and drag racing a super comp dragster. He is a member of
the
American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics,
the
American Academy of Restorative
Dentistry,
the
American Dental Association, the
Pacific Coast Society of Prosthodontists,
the
Seattle - King County Dental Society, and the
Washington State Dental Association.
Connie has vast experience in the dental field
and has been an integral part of this practice for 23 years. Connie
facilitates scheduling, patient billing and accounts, dental
assisting and general office procedures.
Tasia graduated from Shoreline Community
Colleges' Dental Hygiene program and holds a B.A. in Recreation from
Western Washington University. Born in Oxford, Ohio and raised on
Whidbey Island, Tasia has spent most of her life in
Washington
State. She is an accomplished horseback rider who has competed in
numerous state and regional events.
Tasia enjoys staying active in the community by
volunteering her time with the Grace Hefferman Arnold Guild
supporting the
Fred
Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. She is also very involved with
the
Seattle
chapter of the Washington State Dental Hygienist's Association.
When away from her career and volunteer duties,
she enjoys spending time with her husband Doug and their chocolate
Labrador Retriever Hannah. Tasia is an avid reader, enjoys
perfecting her culinary skills and is currently learning to play
golf.
